Godfather: Megastar Chiranjeevi resumes shooting in Ooty

Megastar Chiranjeevi will be seen in Godfather. Today the shooting of the movie has resumed in Ooty. The makers shared the news on their Twitter handle. For the unversed, Telugu movie Godfather is a remake of the Malayalam hit movie Lucifer. Directed by Prithviraj Sukumaran, the movie starred Mohanlal, Manju Warrier and Vivek Oberoi in lead roles.

The title of the megastar’s movie was announced on his birthday, August 22 this year. It is the 153rd film of his career. The first schedule of Godfather commenced in August and went on for a few weeks in Hyderabad. Today, the team has resumed the second schedule of the movie in Ooty, Tamil Nadu.

Godfather is a political action thriller helmed by Mohan Raja. The film is jointly produced by Konidela Production Company and Super Good Films. The music is given by S Thaman and cinematography by Nirav Shah.

Chiranjeevi also has Bhola Shankar that has Keerthy Suresh as his sister He also has an untitled Telugu project with director Bobby. Also, he will be seen in Acharya that is directed by Koratala Siva. The movie also stars his son Ram Charan, Kajal Aggarwal and Pooja Hegde.
