Happy Birthday S Thaman: Allu Arjun, Varun Tej and other celebs extend warm wishes to the music composer

Music composer Ghantasala Srinivas Sai Thaman Siva Kumar, popularly known as S Thaman is one of the most popular composers of the South movie industry. Today, he has turned a year older and wishes are pouring in for him on social media. Also, South celebs like Allu Arjun, Varun Tej among others have showered love and warm wishes for Thaman.

Thaman had given music for Telugu film Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo, which starred Allu Arjun and Pooja Hegde. The songs were superhits.

For the unversed, Thaman is the grandchild of veteran director Ghantasala Balaramayya. He turned into a music composer with the 2008 film Bheebatsam but he rose to fame with Ravi Teja starrer Kick and later gave music for superhits like Brindavanam, Dookudu, Businessman, Race Gurram, and Tholi Prema among others.

He has won three SIIMA Awards, one Filmfare Award and seven other prestigious awards for his contribution to music.

Currently, he has films like Sarkaru Vaari Paata, Bheemla Nayak, Akhanda, Ghani, Chiru153, Miss India, RC15 among others for which he has composed music.
