Mahesh Babu’s father veteran actor Krishna hospitalised, condition critical

Mahesh Babu’s father, veteran Tollywood actor Krishna has been hospitalised after he complained of breathlessness on Monday (November 14). As per some reports, he had a mild a cardiac arrest while some reported that he is suffering from respiratory disorders. He is admitted to Continental Hospitals in Hyderabad at around 1.15 a.m. Meanwhile, the hospital released a statement on Ghattamaneni Krishna’s health. It confirmed that he suffered cardiac arrest and the “doctors immediately performed a CPR resuscitated him within 20 minutes and shifted him to the ICU for treatment and observation”. Videos of Mahesh Babu from the hospital have gone viral on social media.

PR Suresh Kondi took to Twitter and shared the statement of the hospital that also wrote that Krishna garu’s condition is “critical and is on ventilator”. Doctors are closely monitoring him.

Krishna whose real name is Ghattamaneni Siva Rama Krishna Murthy turned 79 in May this year. His son Mahesh Babu wished his father with a heartwarming post.

Superstar Krishna had two wives, Vijaya Nirmala and Indira Devi and he lost both. His second wife, Vijaya Nirmala, passed away in 2019 while Mahesh’s mother Indira Devi passed away on September 28, 2022 due to health issues at a private hospital in Hyderabad. She was cremated the same day at Mahaprasanthanam. Krishna also lost his elder son Ramesh Babu on January 8, 2022.

On the work front, Mahesh Babu will be seen in tentatively titled SSMB28 with Pooja Hegde, directed by Trivikram Srinivas. He also has a film with RRR director, SS Rajamouli. The untitled drama is expected to go on the floors in 2023.
