Nagarjuna breaks silence on son Naga Chaitanya and Samantha’s divorce: We can’t keep moping about it

Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Naga Chaitanya were one of the most loved couples in the industry. They announced their separation in October last year. Now, in a recent interview with Pinkvilla, Nagarjuna, who is currently enjoying the success of Brahmastra, opened up about his son Naga Chaitanya and Samantha divorce.

The actor said, “He (Naga Chaitanya) is happy, that’s all I see. That’s good enough for me. It’s an experience to him. Unfortunate.”

He went on to add, “We can’t keep moping about it. It’s gone. It’s out of our lives. So I hope it will be out of everybody’s life.”

Naga Chaitanya and Samantha announced their divorce in a joint statement last year. It read, “To all our well-wishers. After much deliberation and thought Sam and I have decided to part ways as husband and wife to pursue our own paths.”

Earlier, Naga Chaitanya had also opened up about his separation from Samantha and the reason behind his silence post the split. The Laal Singh Chaddha actor told ETimes, “Whatever both of us wanted to say, we both put out a statement regarding that. That’s what I have always done with my personal life anyway. Things that I feel are crucial to be shared and put out, I do inform the media about it, whether it’s good or bad. I come out, tell the people about it through a statement and that’s it. In our case, Samantha has moved on, I’ve moved on and I don’t feel the need to inform the world about it, more than that.”

After parting ways with Samantha, Naga Chaitanya is rumoured to be dating Sobhita Dhulipala.
