South actor Akkineni Nagarjuna will be seen in the Telugu film Bangaraju that also features Nagarjuna’s elder son Naga Chaitanya. Nagarjuna and Naga Chaitanya had earlier appeared together in Akkineni’s multi-starrer Manam which is remembered as one of the all-time classic blockbusters and also as one of the most memorable films for the Akkineni family and fans all over the world. Ramya Krishna will also be seen in Bangaraju as well. Krithi Shetty will play Naga Chaitanya’s love interest.
They have started shooting for Bangarraju in Hyderabad. The pictures of the cast from the puja ceremony (August 20) had gone viral. It is directed by Kalyan Krishna. Anup Rubens has scored the music for the film while Satyanand has penned the screenplay, while Yuvaraj is handling the cinematography. Bangaraju is the sequel to his 2016 blockbuster Soggade Chinni Nayana.

Bangaraju is touted to be a wholesome entertainer with a total dose of romance, emotions and other commercial elements. Fans are eagerly waiting to see the father-son together on screen and the expectations are really high.
Zee Studios will be co-producing the project with Annapurna Studios Pvt Ltd. The movie also stars Chalapathi Rao, Rao Ramesh, Brahmaji, Vennela Kishore and Jhansi.
