Nayanthara and Vignesh Shivan name their twin boys Uyir and Ulagam, Here’s the meaning behind them

Nayanthara and Vignesh Shivan are one of the most loved couples down South. The couple tied the knot earlier this year. On Sunday, Vignesh and Nayanthara announced that they became parents to twins. Vignesh shared his baby boys’ pictures on Instagram but did not reveal their faces. Nayanthara and Vignesh also revealed the names of their twins as Uyir and Ulagam.

In case you’re wondering about the meanings behind Nayanthara and Vignesh Shivan’s boys’ names, let us tell you, Uyir and Ulagam are Tamil words. Uyir translates to life and Ulagam means world.

Vignesh shared a bunch of adorable photos on Instagram and melted fans’ hearts. Vignesh captioned the first two photos as, “Nayan & Me have became Amma & Appa. We are blessed with Twin Baby Boys. All Our prayers, our ancestors’ blessings combined wit all the good manifestations made, have come 2gethr in the form Of 2 blessed babies for us. Need all ur blessings for our Uyir & Ulagam. Life looks brighter & more beautiful… God is double great.”

Vignesh captioned other photos as, “I love you Two And I love you Three.” Several fans and friends showered love on them.

Nayanthara and Vignesh tied the knot in June this year. Their wedding took place in Chennai and it was attended by Shah Rukh Khan, AR Rahman, Mani Ratnam, Vijay Sethupathi, Suriya and Rajinikanth.

Vignesh had shared their dreamy wedding photos on Instagram and penned a sweet note that read, “On a scale of 10… She’s Nayan & am the One… By God’s Grace just married #Nayanthara #WikkiNayan #WikkiNayanWedding.” On the work front, Nayanthara was recently seen in GodFather with Chiranjeevi. Salman Khan made a cameo in the film. Up next, Nayanthara will be seen in Atlee’s Jawan. The actress will be sharing screen space with Shah Rukh Khan.
