PSPK Rana: Pawan Kalyan and Rana Daggubati starrer to release on Sankranthi 2022

Powerstar Pawan Kalyan and Rana Daggubati will be seen together in an upcoming Telugu film tentatively titled #PSPKRana movie. The film will now release on Sankranthi 2022. Today, the makers made the announcement with a making video. In the BTS video, Pawan Kalyan, Rana, and others are seen getting ready for the shoot. Pawan is seen in the get-up of police officer Bheemla Nayak. Announcing the news, the makers wrote, “Power Star as #BheemlaNayak, will take charge Sankranthi 2022 Here’s a small glimpse from the sets of #ProductionNo12”.

The movie is the official Telugu remake of the Malayalam super hit Ayyappanum Koshiyum. Rana Daggubati and Pawan Kalyan are reprising the roles of Biju Menon and Prithviraj Sukumaran, respectively, from the original. National Award-winning actor Samuthirakani will play a pivotal role in #PSPKRana. Pawan and Rana have kickstarted shooting in Hyderabad in a police station set in an aluminum factory. The film has already wrapped up two schedules and they have resumed shoot post the Covid-19 lockdown. The film is being helmed by Saagar K Chandra and produced by Naga Vamsi under Sithara Entertainments. It is an action thriller and Trivikram Srinivas has written the dialogues for the film and music is given by S Thaman.
