Pushpa: Release of Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna starrer to be postponed?

Allu Arjun starrer Pushpa’s release date might be pushed. The movie has been in the news since its announcement and recently the teaser was unveiled introducing Allu Arjun’s character Pushpa Raj. As of now, the movie is slated to release on August 13 and it has been creating a lot of buzz. Fans are eagerly waiting for the action-drama to release on the big screen. But now it seems they have to wait a bit longer.

As per a report in Telugu360.com, the latest schedule of the film’s shoot commenced in Hyderabad and the unit will head to Kerala for an important schedule. But as the shoot has been delayed, the makers won’t release it on the scheduled date. The makers were also looking for October 13 if SS Rajamouli’s RRR release gets postponed. The report also states that director Sukumar is not confident in completing Pushpa’s shoot and release the film in Dusshera.

The makers of Pushpa have now decided to release it on December 17 across the globe. The official announcement will be made soon. Sukumar also wants time for the post-production work of the film. It is made on a budget of Rs 160 crores.

Apart from Allu Arjun, the movie also stars Rashmika Mandanna and Fahadh Faasil. He is playing a villain in Pushpa. Also, Jagapathi Babu, Prakash Raj, Dhananjay, and Sunil will star in the movie. Pushpa is Allu Arjun and Sukumar’s third collaboration. Earlier, they worked together in blockbusters Arya and Arya 2. Produced by Mythri Movie Makers and Muttamsetty Media, Pushpa is a pan-India film and will release in multiple languages-Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada and Hindi simultaneously.
