Ram Charan to play lead in Shankar’s next? Deets inside

Ram Charan and Shankar are going to reunite for the latter’s film. As per reports, it is said to be a historical drama and is likely to go on floors in early 2022. Reports also state that recently, Shankar narrated the script to Ram Charan and has confirmed him as one of the lead characters. The makers are planning to make an official announcement on Valentine’s Day i.e on February 14

The movie will be backed by Telugu producer Dil Raju and it will be shot in five languages including – Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Kannada and Malayalam simultaneously.

Today, trade Analyst, Kaushik LM took to his Twitter handle and wrote, “Legend #Shankar sir with #MegaPowerstar #RamCharan, produced by #DilRaju The next big takeoff from the South Deadly combination @shankarshanmugh is loved equally by the Telugu audience as he is by the Tamil audience! Awaiting the official announcement @AlwaysRamCharan (sic).” Since this tweet, Ram Charan has been trending on social media.

Ram Charan will be seen in magnum opus RRR directed by SS Rajamouli. He will also be seen in Acharya, directed by Koratala Siva. Acharya also stars Ram Charan’s father Chiranjeevi in the lead role and Kajal Aggarwal. It is backed by Ram Charan and Niranjan Reddy under the banners Konidela Production Company and Matinee Entertainments respectively.

Shankar will soon resume the shoot of his upcoming film Indian 2. The film has Kamal Hassan, Kajal Aggarwal, Rakul Preet Singh, Priya Bhavani Shankar, Vivekh, Bobby Simha, Samuthirakani Vidyut Jammwal, and Delhi Ganesh.
