Actor Rashmika Mandanna who essayed the role of Srivalli in the pan-India film, Pushpa, also starring Allu Arjun, gained utmost love and fame from the audience not only from India but globally. The film was also released in Hindi and the film managed to rake in good numbers at the box office. However, as the film has made some noise in the global markets as well, Rashmika revealed she is overwhelmed with the response.
During an interview, Rashmika also revealed that Pushpa made her dream come true as she always wanted to be known as a pan-India star. “Pushpa really means a lot to me. It’s very overwhelming to see love from people around the world. I am very glad that now not just the Indian audience but also global viewers are making note of the film. This love from the audience encourages us to work harder. And I always wanted to be known as a Pan – Indian actor, so it’s just a dream come true moment for me honestly,” Rashmika told India TV.
Earlier, in an exclusive chat with Bollywood Bubble on Her Story Season 2, Pushpa: The Rise actress opened up about the South versus North divide. Rashmika also said that she does not want to be known as just a ‘south actress’.

Rashmika told us, “Oh I still get it. Like I do get it of course. But, since I just take it on a positive note saying, since I’ve made so much name down there, people just term me like that. But then it’s like when I walk down on the street, I wouldn’t prefer calling me just a South Indian Heroine.”
