Samantha Akkineni is reportedly keen to start a family with hubby Naga Chaitanya amid divorce rumours

For quite some time now, South superstars Samantha Akkineni and her husband Naga Chaitanya have been grabbing headlines for personal reasons. Sam and Chaitanya are considered to be one of the most loved couples in Tollywood; however, reportedly, their marriage has hit a rough patch and it is said that they are heading towards divorce. Even though they have kept their mum over their fallout, fans considered it to be false. Amidst divorce rumours, it is in fact said that the Family Man 2 actor wanted to start a family with hubby Naga Chaitanya.

According to a report in Pinkvilla, Samantha was keen on starting a family with Naga Chaitanya and due to this, she has been ​not ​signing any projects. The report quoted a source saying, “We as an industry are currently baffled with the speculations going around about Samantha Akkineni and Naga Chaitanya. As an actress, everyone knows she is very family-oriented. She actually wanted to start a family with Chaitanya and she didn’t sign any projects or read scripts for the same reason. The family has always been her priority and she wanted to balance it to start a family. Her friends, producers, actors, everyone who knows Samantha know how important her family is to her.”

On the other hand, Naga shared the first trailer of his upcoming film, Love Story, also starring Sai Pallavi, on his Twitter handle. Reacting to the trailer, Sam quickly praised the trailer and wrote on her micro-blogging site, “WINNER!! All the very best to the  team @Sai_Pallavi92 .. #LoveStoryTrailer”

However, Chaitanya even quoted her tweet and exclaimed, “Thanks Sam”

Samantha Akkineni and Chaitanya Akkineni tied the knot in Goa in October 2017. They got married in two different ceremonies – first, they got married according to Hindu rituals on October 6 and on October 7, a Christian ceremony took place.
