“Songs of old love”: Samantha Akkineni makes her first post after announcing separation from Naga Chaitanya

Much to everyone’s dismay, on October 2, South superstars and one of the most celebrated couples, Samantha Akkineni and Naga Chaitanya announced that they are parting ways as husband and wife. Since then, disappointed fans were flooding the social media platform by sharing cute creatives of the two. Well, now, after announcing the split, Samantha made her first post on Instagram, showing her support to her favourite fashion label.

In the picture, we see her wearing a simple comfy white gown with some pretty flowers in her hair. Sharing the first post on her Instagram, Samantha Akkineni captioned it as, “Songs of old love – sound of the winter breeze on the mountains and cliff, songs of lost and found images. Sound of the melancholic echo in the valley and songs of old lovers. Sound of the wind in the old bungalows, stairways and alleys.  Watch out for my favourite @ekaco ‘s show on Friday, Sustainable Fashion Day, 8th October at 7 pm at FDCI x Lakmé Fashion Week.”

While announcing the separation on October 2, the post read, “To all our well wishers. After much deliberation and thought Chay and I have decided to part ways as husband and wife to pursue our own paths. We are fortunate to have a friendship of over a decade that was the very core of our relationship which we believe will always hold a special bond between us. We request our fans, well wishers and the media to support us during this difficult time and give us the privacy we need to move on Thanking you for your support.”

Meanwhile, Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Chaitanya have known each other for more than a decade. The two got married in October 2017 in two different rituals.
