Samantha, Nayanthara and Vijay Sethupathi will be seen in Kaathuvaakula Rendu Kaadhal. The trio is shooting for the upcoming film in Puducherry. A shooting video has gone viral where we see all three actors recreating the iconic bus scene from Kamal Haasan and Amala’s song Valai Osai from their hit film, Sathya.

It was recently, Samantha jetted off to Chennai from Hyderabad to shoot for the upcoming Tamil film Kaathuvaakula Rendu Kaadhal. She then travelled to Puducherry. Kaathuvaakula Rendu Kaadhal is directed by Nayanthara’s fiance Vignesh Shivan. Vignesh has also written and jointly produced the film. In the BTS video that has gone viral, Samantha, Nayanthara and Vijay Sethupathi are seen standing on the footboard of a bus as they recreate the bus scene. Vijay was seen in a white shirt and black trousers with a tie like Kamal Haasan and Samantha and Nayanthara were in white sarees.

Kaathuvaakula Rendu Kaadhal is a romantic comedy that went on floors in Hyderabad early this year. It is jointly produced by Vignesh Shivan and Nayanthara in association with Lalit Kumar of Seven Screen Studio. Anirudh Ravichander has composed the music for the film.

Well, recently, Nayanthara, Vijay Sethupathi and Vignesh Shivan celebrated Samantha’s Best Actress award at IFFM 2021 on the sets of the film. The pics have gone viral. They also brought a cake for Samantha. Samantha took to Instagram to share some pics from the celebrations and captioned them, “The week that was (sic),” with a heart emoji.
