Samantha and Naga Chaitanya made an announcement about their decision to separate recently. After much speculation, the couple issued an official joint statement and announced their separation. Samantha and Chay posted the statement on their Instagram at the very same time. They decided to split after almost four years of marriage and go separate ways. According to a report, the Mail actress was offered Rs 200 crores alimony by her ex-husband. However, Samantha refused the offer reportedly.

According to a report in India Today, Samantha said no to the alimony. The report mentioned that the actress doesn’t even want to take a penny from Chaitanya or his family.

A source close to the actress revealed that she is now concentrating on her work. She is putting aside her personal problems. The source said, “It’s not easy for Samantha to get up and go to work every day. She is massively heartbroken. But she doesn’t want any project that she is associated with to suffer because of her personal life. She has always been a thorough professional and continues to be, putting up a brave front every day. It’s not in her to be unprofessional.”
