Actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu today completed 12 years in the film industry. On Saturday morning, she took to her social media platforms to thank her loyal fans. She hopes that her ‘love story with cinema never ends’. Samantha made her debut in 2010 with Gautham Vasudev Menon’s Telugu film Ye Maaya Chesave. She shared a couple of sun-kissed pictures of herself on Instagram, and wrote, “I woke up this morning to realize that I’ve completed 12 years in the Film Industry. It’s been 12 years of memories that revolve around Lights, Camera, action and incomparable moments. I am filled with gratitude for having had this blessed journey and the best, most loyal fans in the world! Here’s hoping my love story with Cinema never ends and abounds from strength to strength.”
In her career of 12 years, Samantha has appeared in more than 40 movies. Some of her best performance were seen in movies like Eega, Super Deluxe, Oh! Baby, Mahanati, Mersal, 24, Dookudu, and Rangasthalam among others. She made her OTT debut with Raj and DK’s The Family Man last year. Samantha was lauded for her performance.

Talking about Samantha’s personal life, she went through a rough patch as last year she and Naga Chaitanya announced their separation.
On the professional front, Samantha was last seen in Pushpa: The Rise in a special dance number Oo Antava Oo Oo Antava. She created a rage with her dance movies. She will be next seen in Vignesh Shivan’s Kaathuvaakula Rendu Kaadhal, that also has Vijay Sethupathi and Nayanthara. She also has Shaakuntalam in her kitty, written and directed by Gunasekhar. The first look was unveiled recently.
