Samantha Ruth Prabhu’s father breaks silence on his daughter’s divorce from Naga Chaitanya: A story that doesn’t exist anymore

Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Naga Chaitanya announced separation in October 2021 after four years of marriage. Their divorce news shocked everyone. Recently, Samantha’s father Joseph Prabu shared some throwback photos from his daughters’ wedding with Chay in Goa. He also wrote an emotional note alongside the pics.

On September 4, Joseph Prabu took to his Facebook handle to share memories from his daughter’s wedding and wrote, “Long long ago, there was a story. And it doesn’t exist anymore! So, let’s start a new story. And a new chapter!” In the pics, Sam was seen in a white gown, while Chaitanya donned a black tuxedo. They posed with the guests.

Many commented on his post. Thanking all, he wrote, “Thanks for all your feelings. Yes, I sat down for a long time to overcome emotions. Life is too short to sit down with feelings and get bogged down.”

While announcing their separation, Naga Chaitanya and Samantha wrote, “To all our well-wishers. After much deliberation and thought Chay (Chaitanya) and I have decided to part ways as husband and wife to pursue our own paths. We are fortunate to have a friendship of over a decade that was the very core of our relationship which we believe will always hold a special bond between us. We request our fans, well wishers and the media to support us during this difficult time and give us the privacy we need to move on. Thanking you for your support”.

On the work front, Chay Akkineni was last seen in Aamir Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan starrer Laal Singh Chaddha that tanked at the box office. It was his Bollywood debut. While Samantha has lots of projects in her kitty. She has Kushi with Vijay Deverakonda. The actress will also be seen in Shaakuntalam and Citadel.
