Samantha Ruth Prabhu reveals if situation with Naga Chaitanya has been amicable post divorce

In October, actors Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Naga Chaitanya announced their separation, leaving fans in complete shock. However, after the divorce announcement, a lot of fans started bashing the couple, more so, it was Samantha who faced a lot of flak from the netizen. Now, reacting to the fans’ trolls and bashing, in the recent episode of Koffee With Karan season 7, Samantha revealed that she chose to reveal this part of her life. She mentioned that she came out of the divorce okay.

When asked about the trolling, Samantha said, “I couldn’t really complain about it because I chose that path, I chose to be transparent and I chose to reveal a lot of my life. And when the separation happened, I couldn’t be too upset about it because they invested in my life and it was my responsibility to have answers which I didn’t at that point in time. I think I came out of it okay, better than okay. I read this amazing line in this called Greenlights which Mathew McCongley wrote and he said, ‘In the art of life I haven’t scored all As but I’d rather take an experienced C over an arrogant A any day.’ So, I think that I haven’t scored all As but it’s fine.”

When asked how was her life post divorce, the Family Man actor said, “It’s been hard but it’s good now, I’m stronger than ever been. Are there hard feelings like if you put us both in the room you have to hide the sharp objects? Yeah, as of now, yes.” Sam was also asked if the relationship was an amicable situation right now, She said, “Not right now but maybe sometime in the future.”

In October, Samantha and Naga Chaitanya released a joint statement on their divorce. “We are fortunate to have a friendship of over a decade that was the very core of our relationship which we believe will always hold a special bond between us. We request our fans, well-wishers and the media to support us during this difficult time and give us the privacy we need to move on Thanking you for your support,” read a part of their statement.
