Samantha Ruth Prabhu says ‘day made’ as she thanks everyone for appreciating Yashoda

Samantha Ruth Prabhu starrer Yashoda hit the theatres on November 11. The Telugu movie directed by Hari–Harish, has received mostly positive reviews. It’s about the medical mafia and Samantha plays a surrogate mother in the film. Sam also has some action scenes in the film and she has been highly praised for her power packed performance. The actress took to social media to thank all for showering her movie with so much love.

Samantha shared a few screenshots of tweets praising Yashoda and wrote, “Day made… Thank you for the encouragement and appreciation. Feel motivated to work harder. Ever grateful.”

An excerpt of Bollywood Bubble review of Yashoda read: “The actress leaves you mesmerized with her action sequences and her faultless performance. She emerges as a star in the film. And, Samantha gets as good as one can be as she performs some high-octane action stunts. Overall, the director does a fair job with Yashoda. Despite the flaws, Yashoda is a decent watch.”

Yashoda has also released in Hindi, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam. It also stars Unni Mukundan, Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, Rao Ramesh, Murali Sharma, Sampath Raj, Shatru and Kalpika Ganesh in important roles.

The Family Man 2 actress recently revealed her struggle with an autoimmune disease, myositis. Later, in an interview, she also slammed reports claiming her condition ‘life-threatening’. She said she is ‘here to fight’.

On the work front, Samantha will be seen in Kushi with Vijay Deverakonda and she also has Shakuntalam in her kitty.
