There were reports about Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Vijay Deverakonda getting injured on the sets of their upcoming film Kushi in Kashmir. Reportedly, they suffered injuries while performing a stunt scene. The team today has released a statement clarifying on the reports. They said that ‘there is no truth’ in it and also asked not to ‘believe such news’. The statement further added that the team returned to Hyderabad after successfully completing 30 days of shooting in Kashmir. Kushi is Samantha and Vijay’s second film after working together in Mahanati. Directed by Shiva Nirvana, the family entertainer will be released in cinemas on December 23 in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada.
The statement by Kushi’s team read: “There are few reports that #VijayDeverakonda and #Samantha were injured while shooting for #Kushi movie. There is no truth in this news. The entire team returned to Hyderabad yesterday after successfully completing 30 days of shooting in Kashmir. Don’t believe such news”.

The first schedule of Kushi was wrapped up yesterday. The team including Sam and Vijay posed for pics as they completed the shoot in the valley. The actress was sharing glimpses of their shoot from the location on her Instagram handle.
The first look poster of Kushi along with a motion poster were unveiled earlier this month. Samantha and Deverakonda took to Instagram to unveil it.
Samantha, who was recently seen in Kaathu Vaakula Rendu Kaadhal will be seen in Shaakuntalam, Yashoda, Citadel and she also has a Hollywood project. While her co-star Vijay has pan-India film Liger, directed by Puri Jagannadh. It also stars Ananya Panday and Mike Tyson in a key role.
