South Indian International Movie Awards aka SIIMA awards, which is one of the most prestigious awards was held last night. It was attended by many stars from the South Indian film industry. Allu Arjun, Yash, Pooja Hegde, Kamal Haasan among others marked their presence at the event. Ranveer Singh made a stylish appearance at the event and also won an award.
Allu Arjun and his film Pushpa: The Rise won big last night. Allu Arjun played the role of Pushpa Raj in the film and won hearts with his terrific performance. Allu Arjun won an award for Best Actor and Pushpa won the best film. The actor will soon start shooting for the sequel Pushpa: The Rule. Fans are beyond excited for it.
Puneeth Rajkumar was posthumously awarded as the best actor in Kannada cinema for his work in Yuvarathanaa. Pooja Hegde won ‘Best Actress’ award for her performance in Most Eligible Bachelor.
On the other hand, Bollywood star Ranveer Singh was awarded the ‘most popular Hindi star in South India’.
