Sonakshi Sinha to play Rani Ratnavati of Bhangarh?

Sonakshi Sinha will soon be seen portraying the character of Rani Ratnavati of Bhangarh on silver screen. The Dabangg girl will be playing a pivotal role in a film that explores the life of the queen. The movie is all about the myth surrounding the infamous Bhangarh fort that is rumoured to be the hub of paranormal activity in India.

The upcoming film is all about the stories surrounding the popular haunted place in Rajasthan. The queen of Bhangarh was quite famous for her beauty and had and had many suitors competing for her hand. Nawazuddin Siddiqui, the actor famous for his powerful performances is rumoured to be enrolled to play a very important role in the film.

The role of Queen Ratnavati was earlier offered to actress Kareena Kapoor Khan, but the begum turned down the offer due to her pregnancy. Later they zeroed upon Sonakshi Sinha, and now with the lead actress in place the makers are on a lookout for an established director to helm the project.

Sonakshi Sinha who was busy with her two action flicks, one being A R Murugadoss ‘Akira’ and the other ‘Force 2’ opposite John Abraham. ‘Akira’ will be releasing on September 2. ‘Force 2’ will hit the theaters on 18 November. At present Sona is busy with upcoming film ‘Noor’.
