SS Rajamouli promises a ‘globetrotting action adventure’ with Mahesh Babu as he opens up about his next project

When a great filmmaker and a great actor come together for a project, it’s like cherry on the cake. SS Rajamouli has collaborated with Mahesh Babu for his next. The film has not been officially announced, yet everyone has been waiting what the visionary filmmaker will bring to the table this time. The RRR director has shared a major update on the film. He is currently in Canada for the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF), where he opened up about his next.

At the event, while talking about his next film with Mahesh Babu, Rajamouli said, “My next film with Mahesh Babu will be a globetrotting action adventure. It’s going to be a kind of James Bond or Indiana Jones film with Indian roots!” This update has got us excited and we can’t wait for the movie to release soon.

Earlier, the Sarkaru Vaari Paata actor while expressing his excitement on working with Rajamouli had said, “It’s a dream come true for me to work with him. Doing one film with Rajamouli garu is like taking up 25 films at once. It’s going to be physically demanding and I’m really excited about it. It’s going to be a pan-India film. I hope we break many barriers and take our work to audiences across the country.”

Also, during an interview with Pinkvilla, Rajamouli’s writer father, KV Vijayendra Prasad had confirmed that film will go on floors in the first half of 2023. He also said that it will be set against the backdrop of a jungle.

Meanwhile, Mahesh Babu has started shooting for Trivikram Srinivas’ film SSMB28. Yesterday, the actor’s wife Namrata Shirodkar shared his new look and it’s apparently from his film with Trivikram.
