Suriya CONFIRMS his cameo in Soorarai Pottru Hindi remake as he shares a fun photo with Akshay Kumar

Actor Suriya is all set to make another cameo in none other than Akshay Kumar starrer after featuring in Kamal Haasan starrer Vikram. It was reported that Suriya will be making a cameo in the Hindi remake of his film, Soorarai Pottru which will be headlined by Akshay Kumar and Radhika Madan. Now, Suriya has himself confirmed that he will be seen in a special role in the film and fans can’t seem to wait for it.

While confirming his presence, the Singam actor shared a fun picture with the Samrat Prithviraj actor and wrote, “@akshaykumar sir to see you as #vir was nostalgic! @sudha_kongara can see our story beautifully coming alive again #maara Enjoyed every minute with team #sooraraipootru Hindi in a brief cameo! @ivikramix @abundantiaent @2d_entertainment @rajsekarpandian @capeofgoodfilmss”

Even Radhika Madan who is the lead of the film is quite ecstatic about his cameo as she dropped heart emojis in the comment section. Even fans are quite elated about his collaboration with the Sooryavanshi actor as one commented, “Woahhh Just Imagine Both r same Screen” while another one mentioned, “Im gonna watch this movie only for ur cameo scene. Loved sooraraipootru”

The Hindi remake not only features Akshay Kumar but also has Radhika Madan as the female lead. The movie will also mark Suriya’s first film as a producer in Bollywood. He is producing it under his production house 2D Entertainments. Soorarai Pottru director, Sudha Kongara will be helming the Hindi remake as well.

The story of the film revolves around Nedumaaran Rajangam or Maara, who sets out to make the common man fly. It was partly inspired by events from the life of Deccan founder GR Gopinath.
