Soorarai Pottru star Suriya and wife Jyothika get their COVID-19 vaccine jab; view pics

South superstar Suriya and his wife Jyothika got their jabs of the Covid-19 vaccine. Suriya took to his Instagram handle to share the pics from the centre where he and his wife were seen taking the vaccine. Both were seen with masks. In the third picture, they posed together after they got vaccinated.

“#Vaccinated,” Suriya captioned the pics as he shared them on the photo-sharing app.

The Soorarai Pottru star had tested Covid positive on February 7. He had written on social media, “I contracted coronavirus and I’m well and under treatment. Let’s all realize that our lives have not come back to normal. We cannot confine ourselves to our homes due to fear. At the same time, it is important for us to stay cautious and safe. I convey my gratitude and affection to the dedicated doctors who are standing by us (sic).” He recovered after he received treatment at a hospital in Chennai.

Recently, in May, Suriya, his brother Karthi, and his father Sivakumar donated a sum of Rs. 1 crore to the Tamil Nadu Chief Minister’s Public Relief Fund in the state’s battle against Covid 19.

On the work front, Suriya was last seen in Soorarai Pottru that got an overwhelming response. He will be next seen in Pandiraj’s directorial that is tentatively titled Suriya 40. The movie also has Priyanka Mohan opposite Suriya in the lead role. Suriya 40 is a total package of romance, action, and emotions. He also has Vaadivaasal, directed by Vetrimaaran. It is all set to go on floors in September.
