Suriya is ‘thrilled’ as his wife Jyotika makes debut on Instagram; check out the actress’ first post

Actor Suriya’s actress wife Jyotika has finally made her debut on social media. She is officially on Instagram now. She started her journey on the photo-sharing app by sharing a few pictures from her recent trek at the Himalayas on Independence Day.

She started her post, “Hello everyone!On social media for the very first time !A lot of positivity to share from my lockdown diaries. ?”. Talking about her trek, Jyotika wrote, “At the Himalayas on Independence Day, The beautiful Kashmir Great Lakes , 70 km trek With the awesome team of Bikat adventures- Rahul ,Sachin, Raul and Ashwin , n the Kashmir team Mushtaq n Riyaz bhai. Thank u ?Life is only an existence, unless we start living it !! ?India is gorgeous!Jai hind ! ?(sic)”.

Suriya is ‘thrilled’ to see his wife on Instagram. He shared Jyotika’s post on Instagram Stories and wrote, “My pondatti Strongest!!! Thrilled to see you on Insta” with a purple heart emoji. In Tamil Pondatti means ‘wife’.

Jyotika has already got 1.2 million followers on Instagram.

There are many South celebs like Nayanthara and Ajith among others who are yet to make their social media debut. Jyotika was one of them. But, now she is on Instagram, fans are happy and they have welcomed her.

Suriya and Jyotika fell in love when they were filming for Kaakha Kaakha. They got married in 2006 at Park Sheraton Hotel in Chennai. Their daughter Diya was born on August 10, 2007, while son Dev was born on June 7, 2010. Jyotika had quit acting after getting married and had shifted to Chennai. They are going strong in their married life and still shell out major couple goals. In a media interaction, Jyotika had stated that she would often sing Hindi songs for Suriya, whereas he would sing Tamil songs. Jyotika made her comeback to Tamil cinema with 36 Vayadhinile, a remake of the hit Malayalam film How Old Are You?. She will be next seen in Udanpirappe
