Thalapathy Vijay pays homage to late Kannada superstar Puneeth Rajkumar at his memorial, watch video

Kannada superstar Puneeth Rajkumar’s sudden demise sent shock waves across the nation. The Power Star breathed his last on October 29 last year. The star had suffered a heart attack and passed away after a few hours of treatment. He was 46. Not only the Kannada film industry, but celebs of all film industries of the country mourned death of Puneeth. Many actors even attended his funeral and later paid visits to his residence in Bengaluru. He was laid to rest with full state honours at Kanteerava Studios in Bengaluru on October 31. Today, actor Vijay paid homage at Puneeth Rajkumar’s memorial.

The Beast actor was also seen offering moksha deepam. He was seen in a maroon shirt and black pants. The pics and videos have gone viral on social media.

Puneeth is survived by his wife, Ashwini Revanth, and two daughters, Drithi and Vandhitha.

Meanwhile, as per Mirchi9, Chiranjeevi and Jr NTR will be seen together at a pre-release event of Puneeth Rajkumar’s posthumous film, James. The event will take place on March 6 at Hospet. Both the actors shared a close bond with Puneeth Rajkumar. They are invited as chief guests.

Coming back to Vijay, he is currently grabbing the headlines for his upcoming film Beast that also has Pooja Hegde opposite him. It is expected to release in theatres in the summer of 2022.
