Kannada star Puneeth Rajkumar, who passed away on Friday due to massive cardiac arrest, was a hero in a true sense. He used to donate to several charitable trusts, NGOs and used to even fund the education of numerous underprivileged children. He was continuing all the initiatives which were started by his father Dr. Rajukumar. Apparently, Puneeth was aiding 45 Free Schools, 26 Orphanages, 19 Goshala, and 16 Old Age Homes. He even donated his eyes after death. The Power Star was also responsible for the education of 1800 students.
And now, we have learned that Kollywood actor Vishal will take care of the funds of 1800 students’ education fees. Yes, during the pre-release event of Kollywood actors Vishal and Arya starrer Enemy which was held in Hyderabad yesterday, Vishal declared that he would take care of the 1800 students who are getting free education from Puneeth Rajkumar from next year. The team even paid tributes to the late actor before starting the event.
Speaking at the event, Vishal said, “Puneeth Rajkumar is not just a good actor, but a good friend as well. I haven’t seen such a down-to-earth superstar like him. He was doing lots of social activities. I promise to take care of 1800 students who are getting free education from Puneeth Rajkumar from next year.”

Speaking of the movie, the action thriller is directed by Anand Shankar. It features Vishal, Arya, Mamta Mohandas, Mirnalini Ravi and Karunakaran. While Thaman is scoring the music, the movie is produced by S Vinod Kumar under the banner Mini Studios.
Enemy marks the second collaboration of Arya and Vishal. They had earlier shared screen space in director Bala’s 2011 action drama Avan Ivan. While they played friends in that film, in Enemy, they are reportedly foes of each other.
