Ali Fazal unveils action packed teaser of his next Kandahar co-starring Gerard Butler

Ali Fazal has been a part of many Hollywood movies like Victoria and Abdul, Death on the Nile, and more. The Fukrey actor is all set to impress his fans with a new Hollywood flick Kandahar. The movie also features Gerard Butler. Today Ali took to Instagram and sahred an action packed teaser of Kandahar.

Sharing Kandahar teaser Ali Fazal wrote, “Watch the tease before the bang for my explosive action thriller, KANDAHAR. You’ll get an idea whats about to Hit and whats about a miss. Just biking through the valley here. Exclusively in theatres on May 26th.”

In the action packed teaser we see Gerard Butler as a CIA agent whose secret mission is exposed, and now he’s finding a way out of the territory.performing a number of death defying stunts. But sadly fans missed Ali Fazal in the teaser. Reportedly, Ali is playing an antagonist in the film.

KANDAHAR official synopsis

In KANDAHAR, Tom Harris, an undercover CIA operative, is stuck deep in hostile territory in Afghanistan. After his mission is exposed, he must fight his way out, alongside his Afghan translator, to an extraction point in Kandahar, all whilst avoiding elite enemy forces and foreign spies tasked with hunting them down.

Helmed by Ric Roman Waugh, the film also features Navid Negahban, Travis Fimmel and Elnaaz Norouzi in lead roles. Kandahar is all set to hit the theatres on May 26, 2023.

On the work front, Ali Fazal will soon be seen in the web series Mirzapur Season 3. It will stream on the OTT platform Amazon Prime Video. Apart from that, he will also be seen in The Underbug, Girls will be Girls, Metro In Dino, and Hollywood film Afghan Dreamers.
