Alia Bhatt confided in Heart of Stone co-star Gal Gadot about her pregnancy

Bollywood is currently beaming with pride for Alia Bhatt, as she makes her Hollywood debut with Netflix’s Heart of Stone. The film also stars Gal Gadot and Jamie Dornan in the roles. Interestingly, during the filming of the movie, the actress was pregnant. In a recent interview, Alia Bhatt disclosed that her co-star Gal Gadot was among the first individuals to be informed about her pregnancy.

Alia Bhatt and Gal Gadot have formed a strong bond while working together. They give off complete international bestie vibes. In an interview with BBC Asia Network, during a conversation with the Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani actress, she was asked whether she had considered withdrawing from the movie due to her pregnancy. Without any hesitation, Alia quickly responded with a “no.” She went on to explain, “I felt very protected and comfortable. You don’t really talk about being pregnant until you are way into your first trimester, so I was not telling many people.” This highlights the supportive and secure environment Alia experienced while working on the movie.

Alia further went on the reveal how confided in Gal. She said, “But I did confide in Gal, I did confide in my producers and the director because they had to know. They were all so lovely and supportive and excited that I never for once doubted it at all.”

Alia Bhatt shares Gal Gadot’s caring personality

Alia also told about how caring Gal Gadot is. She said that the Hollywood actress kept on reminding her to drink water. She said, “In fact, I remember we were once shooting this, I am not going to talk much about it, but it was really hot and Gal was really bothered about my hydration and she was telling me to keep myself hydrated, asking me to drink enough water.”

The actress further added, “She’d say, ‘You need to keep yourself hydrated’. So, that’s the kind of person she is and she exudes warmth. She is also extremely caring about everybody on her crew and she is wonderful with her actors as well. So yes, I felt too comfortable.”

For the unversed, the actress gave birth to her daughter Raha in November last year.
