Marvel’s most anticipated movie Captain America: Brave New World inches closer to its release. Sam Wilson takes up the mantle of Captain America, Harrison Ford makes his highly anticipated debut as Thaddeus “Thunderbolt Ross” who is set to become the formidable Red Hulk. Packed with thrilling developments, the film will lead towards a fresh and transformative era for the next phase of the MCU, here are some of the coolest things to expect in the movie.

Coolest Thing We can Expect from Captain America: Brave New World

MCU is introducing Adamantium, the nearly indestructible metal best known for being bonded to Wolverine’s skeleton, the emergence of the Celestial Tiamut in Eternals left a massive corpse in the Indian Ocean, and this could be where Adamantium is first discovered in the MCU, setting the stage for future conflicts over the rare metal. The return of Samyek Sterns as the transformation into the Leader, ever since The Incredible Hulk hinted at his mutation. Brave New World will finally bring Tim Blake Nelson’s character back as one of  Captain America’s adversaries, fulfilling a long dormant storyline.

Giancarlo Esposito’s mysterious character, Sidewinder is another intriguing addition, While Sidwinder leads the Serpent Society in the comics, his MCU counterpart appears to be a powerful political player. His role in the larger plot remains uncertain, but his presence suggests a significant shake up in the film’s political landscape. Brave New World also introduces Joaquin Torres’ take on the mantle of Falcon. Unlike his comic book counterpart, who undergoes bizarre experiments to become a human/bird hybrid, Torres in the MCU is a  skilled soldier stepping into Sam Wilson’s former role.

Thunderbolts will be the next MCU superhero film after Brave New World, potentially setting up the formation of the anti hero team, This team, named after General Ross, could serve as the government’s response should Sam Wilson and other heroes defy its directives. With all these elements in play, Captain America: Brave New World is shaping up to be a major turning point in the MCU’s next phase.
