BTS’ Jin leaves ARMY shocked as he says “I’ve NEVER been asked out on a date”; fans responds, “Am I invisible”

BTS member Kim Seok-jin, aka Jin, has left ARMY shocked with his recent comment. ‘The Astronaut’ singer, during a recent episode of ‘Run Jin,’ claimed he has never been asked out on a date. This unbelievable statement has gone viral on social media with fans of the singer taking to the comments section of the video and dropping hilarious comments. Jin: I’ve NEVER been asked out on a date

On September 10, BTS posted the 5th episode of ‘Run Jin’ on their YouTube channel. The video features Youtuber Kwaktube, MMA fighter Kim Dong Hyun and TXT member Yeonjun. A clip from the episode that has gone viral features the four contestants playing a game together, when he reveals he had never been asked out by anyone.

The reported by Hindustan Times, the conversation began when the question “Would you rather be asked out in a workgroup chat or have someone perform a traditional mask dance while asking you out in the middle of the street in Hongdae?” was asked. To this, Kim Dong Hyun replied, “Isn’t it nice to be asked out?” and Jin said, “If someone asks you out in a group chat, you can just decline.” 

As the conversation continued, the YouTuber confessed, “I’d prefer the group chat, but I’ve never been asked out before.” This was followed by Jin adding, “I’ve never been asked out either.” The statement – which surely shocked the ARMY, also left those present on screen surprised. While TXT’s Yeonjun’s told Mr Worldwide Handsome to stop lying, the BTS member justified his statement. He said, “I don’t know anyone so I’ve never been asked out.” This led to Kwak sating, “Maybe they are too intimidated (since you’re a member of BTS).”

ARMY reacts

Commenting on the video, a fan wrote, “He’s been asked out 20000 times a day on this app alone.” Another ARMY joked, “Am I invisible to him.” A third comments, “Please for goodness sakes someone take my baby girl out on a date already!” A fourth wrote, “Can’t he see an entire fandom asking him out we literally have proof where he keeps rejecting army proposals thousands of youtube videos of him rejecting even marriage proposals……seriously Jin this was a huge ass lie.”

Another fan wrote, “I am booking ticket to sk just to propose him and get rejected.” One more added, “Imagine being so handsome people are too embarrassed to shoot their shoot… ” An ARMY joked, “Who has the guts to ask that man out outside of his lives .” One more laughed, “No freaking way he never been asked out“
