Finally, the trailer of Avatar: The Way of Water directed by James Cameron has been shared by the makers. After more than a decade fans will once again be taken back to the beautiful landscapes of the alien planet Pandora. James Cameron’s highly-anticipated sequel follows the lives of Jake Sully and Neytiri. Also the battles they fight to stay alive.
Avatar The Way of Water trailer is an ode to the family as the one line that is uttered via voiceover is heard saying, “I know one thing: wherever we go, this family is our fortress. ”
According to the official synopsis, Avatar The Way of Water begins to tell the story of the Sully family (Jake, Neytiri, and their kids). It showcases the trouble that follows them. The lengths they go to keep each other safe. Also the battles they have to fight to stay alive.
Jon Landau says, “Ultimately, the sequels are a story about family, and the lengths parents will go through to keep that family together and keep them safe.”

The trailer also underlines how the sequel is all about a new generation. It puts Jake and Neytiri’s son into the spotlight and turns him into the lead of the latest adventure.

Avatar: The Way of Water also sees the return of Stephen Lang, Giovanni Ribisi, Joel David Moore, Dileep Rao, CCH Pounder, Matt Gerald and Sigourney Weaver. New cast additions for Avatar: The Way of Water include Kate Winslet, Cliff Curtis, Edie Falco, Brendan Cowell, Michelle Yeoh, Jemaine Clement, Oona Chaplin, Vin Diesel, and CJ Jones.
The movie is set to premiere on December 16.
