Ben Affleck is all set to don the cape once again. The actor will officially return as Batman in Jason Momoa starrer Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom. The reports were confirmed by Jason in an Instagram post on Thursday. He made the announcement after being ‘busted’ on set by a tour group that spotted the two actors together.
Jason took to Instagram and shared a picture and a video and wrote, “REUNITED bruce and arthur. love u and miss u Ben WB studio tours just explored the backlot alright. busted on set all great things coming AQUAMAN 2 all my aloha j”

“WB studio tours (Warner Bros. Studio Tour Hollywood) just explored the backlot alright, busted on set, all great things coming Aquaman 2. All my aloha (a Hawaiian greeting),” he added as he shared a couple of pictures and a video of himself cracking up after a tour group saw him and Ben leaving set. This is the first picture of Ben Affleck confirming his return for the Aquaman sequel.
The actor had previously confirmed his Batman retirement during a 2019 appearance on the US chat show Jimmy Kimmel Live. It was known that he would be donning the role of the caped crusader for The Flash. But he will also be a part of The Aquaman 2 came as a special surprise to his fans.
Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom stars Jason Momoa as Aquaman, alongside Amber Heard, Willem Dafoe, Patrick Wilson, Dolph Lundgren, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Temuera Morrison, and Nicole Kidman. The film is directed by James Wan.
Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom will hit the theatres in March next year.
