Beyonce comes out with her latest album Renaissance, thanks fans for waiting for official release

Global pop star Beyonce has to be one of the biggest music superstars the world has ever seen, or will see in the future. Her music has been a revolution, so automatically the anticipation and excitement around her latest music album Renaissance has been on an all time high, and today she finally released it.

Renaissance marks Beyonce’s seventh music album and its ‘Act 1’ features 16 tracks, including guest appearances from BEAM on Energy as well as Grace Jones and Tems on Move. The other names that appear in the writing and producing credits include her husband Jay-Z, Drake, Skrillex, The-Dream, Syd, Lucky Daye, Donna Summer, Giorgio Moroder, Nile Rodgers, Nija Charles, 070 Shake and more.

Before dropping her album, Beyonce penned a note for her fans hours before the release, on her website. It read, “This three act project was recorded over three years during the pandemic. A time to be still, but also a time I found to be the most creative. Creating this album allowed me a place to dream and to find escape during a scary time for the world. It allowed me to feel free and adventurous in a time when little else was moving. My intention was to create a safe place, a place without judgment. A place to be free of perfectionism and overthinking. A place to scream, release, feel freedom. It was a beautiful journey of exploration.”

She went on to thank all the people who have been instrumental in her bringing out this album, including her inspiration, her daughter Blue and her muse, her husband Jay-Z. She also thanked her fans saying, “To all of my fans: I hope you find joy in this music. I hope it inspires you to release the wiggle. Ha! And to feel as unique, strong, and sexy as you are. Love y’all deep, B.”

On social media too, the actress dropped a heartfelt note for her fans for waiting for the album’s official release even though it was leaked. “So, the album leaked, and you all actually waited until the proper release time so you all can enjoy it together. I’ve never seen anything like it, I can’t thank y’all enough for your love and protection. I appreciate you for calling out anyone that was trying to sneak into the club early. It means the world to me. Thank you for your unwavering support. Thank you for being patient. We are going to take our time and enjoy the music. I will continue to give my all and do my best to bring you joy. I love you Deep (sic)”.

The leading single from the album, Break My Soul, has already became a fan-favourite, peaking at No. 7 on the Billboard Hot 100, marking Bey’s 20th solo top 10 hit on the chart. Renaissance also marks her first solo album since 2016’s Lemonade, which went No. 1 on the Billboard 200. Beyonce has once again given a path-breaking album and be ready for it to cross all the records as Queen Bey is back and she is here to slay.
