Blackpink’s Lisa to make solo debut in August, confirms Korean music service Melon

Korean music streaming service Melon has confirmed that Blackpink’s Lisa will be making her solo debut in August.  The date is not yet revealed. In a tweet today, the official Twitter handle of Melon released the list of all August comebacks and Lisa is one of them. This news has sent her fans into a frenzy and they are eagerly waiting for the song to release.

On July 30, releasing a series of comeback line-ups, Melon confirmed the much-anticipated news of Lisa’s comeback in the month of August. In April 2021, a representative from YG Entertainment confirmed that Lisa would make her solo debut.

After this announcement, fans are now waiting with bated breath for the posters and teaser of the upcoming song of Lisa to be out soon. A few days back, Lisa dropped a major hint when she uploaded a picture of a sound file with her name on it (Lalisa). ‘What’s my name?’ was written on the pic that made fans speculate that it is a hint of her upcoming track. Hashtag What’s My Name started trending at number one on Twitter worldwide, with over 200 thousand tweets in less than an hour. While some were speculating that it might be the title of Lisa’s solo debut song. Well, time will tell that.
