Blake Lively, known for her role in ‘Gossip Girl’, is facing significant challenges as she navigates a legal battle with her It Ends With Us co-star Justin Baldoni. The 37-year-old actress has expressed concerns over the emotional toll this ongoing drama has had on her four children, whom she shares with husband Ryan Reynolds—James, 10, Inez, eight, Betty, five, and Olin, two. Blake Lively claims her children have been “traumatized” by the situation.

Blake Lively claims her children are traumatised of Justin Baldoni

On Tuesday, Lively filed an amended complaint in a New York federal court, continuing her fight against Baldoni. Initially, in December, she accused him of sexual harassment and alleged that he had conducted a smear campaign intended to undermine her reputation. The latest court filing sheds light on the aftermath of that controversy, noting the severe emotional impact on Lively and her family, which the document states has been “extreme.”

According to the filing, Lively has struggled with severe anxiety and has found it difficult to engage in daily activities, often choosing to stay at home. “There are days when she has struggled to get out of bed, and she frequently chooses not to venture outside in public,” it states. The document further claims that Reynolds has also faced mental, physical, and professional challenges due to the distress experienced by Lively and their children, pointing out that the primary victims in this situation are the young kids, who have been emotionally impacted.

The complaint also alludes to other women who claim they were made uncomfortable by Baldoni during the filming of It Ends With Us. While they remain unnamed, these women have given Lively permission to share their testimonies, indicating they are prepared to support her claims in court.

What is happening between Justin Baldoni & Blake Lively?

Allegations of tension between Lively and Baldoni began circulating in online discussions last year when fans noted their apparent avoidance of each other during promotional events. Lively faced criticism for not addressing the film’s serious subject matter with the necessary sensitivity, which she claims was part of a strategic effort by Baldoni’s PR team to harm her public image.

Baldoni is currently suing Lively and Reynolds for $400 million, asserting that they are trying to ruin his career and reputation, while Lively is pursuing a $250 million lawsuit against The New York Times. A federal judge in New York has informed both parties to prepare for trial in March 2026. In response, Lively and Reynolds’ legal team has filed a notice indicating they will seek to dismiss Baldoni’s counterclaim.
