Following Kim Yo-han, another member of Korean Boy Band group WEi has tested positive for COVID-19. He is none other than Kim Jun Seo. The news was shared by Wei’s agency OUI Entertainment on November 15. But his symptoms are mild, the agency informed.
WEi’s management agency, OUI Entertainment wrote, “Kim Jun-SEO showed symptoms after he was tested on Nov. 14, and he was confirmed to be diagnosed with COVID-19 today. The singer showed mild symptoms.”
As per the statement as soon as Kim Yo Han tested positive for COVID-19, all the other members of WEi and staff underwent the polymerase chain reaction(PCR) testing. Four out of the six tested negative. They are Jang Dae-hyeon, Kim Dong-han, Yoo Yong-ha, and Kang Seok-hwa.
“Jang Dae-hyun, Kim Dong-han, Yoo Yong-ha, and Kang Seok-hwa, who were classified as close contacts with Kim Yo-han during the PCR testing, are taking the necessary steps and self-isolation in accordance with the health authorities’ guidelines,” OUI Entertainment explained.

The statement added, “Since it has not been two weeks since Kim Dong-han and Yoo Yong-ha got their first dose of vaccines and have yet to receive their second vaccine shots, the two members were notified to undergo 10 days of self-isolation. They will be re-examined and if tested negative, they will be monitored afterwards.”
Jang Dae Hyeon and Kang Seok Hwa will be tested again today, and if they test negative, they will switch to manual monitoring.
The agency further added that all schedules of the WEi members have been cancelled or postponed. Though Kang Seok-hwa has tested negative, the singer will not appear in the musical ‘Klimt’ on Nov. 20.
Kim Yo Han who tested covid positive was set to play the lead in KBS drama School 2021. ‘School 2021’ was originally set to premiere on November 17. The drama will now begin on November 24.
