Britney Spears and Sam Asghari are officially married in an intimate LA wedding

Britney Spears and Sam Asghari are officially married. The 40-year-old pop star and the 28-year-old model tied the knot on Thursday, June 9. Their intimate marriage took place in Los Angeles at Spears’s Thousand Oaks home. It was attended by nearly 60 guests, consisting of their close friends.

As reported by People, Britney Spears walked down the aisle wearing a stunning Versace gown. Elvis Presley’s Can’t Help Falling in Love was played. while the bride walked down the aisle. Madonna, Hilton, Selena Gomez, Kate Hudson, and Gwyneth Paltrow and more were among the wedding guests. Britney’s sons Sean Preston and Jayden James whom she shares with ex Kevin Federline were missing from the ceremony.

In a statement to Us, Asghari’s rep confirmed that Britney and Sam Asghari “are married.” They added: “I am very ecstatic this day has come. I know he wanted this for so long. He is so caring and supportive every step of the way. I am so grateful to have Sam in my life and can’t wait for the future they will build together.”

The nuptials of Britney Spears and Sam Asghari was not attended by her parents, Jamie Spears and Lynne Spears, nor her sister, Jamie Lynn Spears. In addition, her teenage sons, 15-year-old Jayden James and 16-year-old Sean Preston, did not join the celebration.

Britney Spears and Sam Asghari sparked romance rumours after they met on the set of the singer’s 2016 music video for Slumber Party. They got engaged in September 2021 after more than four years of dating.

Earlier Thursday, Britney’s ex-husband Jason Alexander was arrested after attempting to crash the ceremony.
