K-pop singers are widely loved across the world and enjoy a massive fan following. But Wednesday morning brought a surprise for the ARMY. In a quiet and subtle manner, BTS’ maknae Jungkook drops his memorable Instagram username and replaced it with something simpler. His move left the ARMY in shock as it marked an end of an era for his fans. The singer changed the username from ‘abcdefghi__lmnopqrstuvwxyz’ to ‘jungkook.97’.

BTS Jungkook had joined Instagram in December 2021 along with his fellow group members. He has a total of 34.4 million followers on the social media platform. Jungkook often refers to himself as JK and taking the consecutive alphabets into stride, his username ‘abcdefghi__lmnopqrstuvwxyz’ was created. His genius username had everyone raving about it for a long time.

As the iconic user name got changed today fans missed the lengthy one! The update has left ARMY heartbroken. Several fans took to social media and mentioned that they will miss the lengthy one.

On the work front, BTS has wrapped up their Seoul concert. They will now be jetting off to Las Vegas in April. The group is now confirmed to perform at the Grammy awards, following which they will be hosting a four-day concert in the city.
