BTS star Jungkook and Lee Yo-bi dating? Agencies react to rumours

BTS is loved and adored by one and all. And often, this group, touted as one of the biggest pop bands in the world has found itself in the middle of false rumours and baseless scandals. BTS member Jungkook was reportedly rumoured to be dating Pinocchio actress Lee Yoo-bi. A YouTuber made claims that the two popular celebrities are dating. The agencies of Jungkook and Lee Yoo-bi have finally put a rest to the rumour mill by addressing the rumours.

Addressing the dating rumours, BTS’ Big Hit Entertainment said that the stories are “not true”. Jungkook’s agency also said that they have decided to take legal actions against social media users who are spreading false rumours and hate against them. BigHit Music stated that they will also take legal action against anyone who makes malicious posts against their artists.

Reacting to the rumours, Y-Bloom Entertainment, Lee Yo Bi’s agency said, “That’s a groundless [rumour]. Lee Yoo Bi and Jungkook’s dating news make no sense. They’ve never met, and they don’t know each other.” As per Soompi, the agency even mentioned that the young actress only knew BTS member Suga and that was a long time ago. Her agency said that they don’t even know if they’re are in touch right now.

For the unversed, a YouTube fan channel suggested in one video that Jungkook and Lee Yoo-bi were dating. Soompi reported that the video shows the young actress engaging in a ‘lovestagram’. She was reportedly posting purple hearts on her social media account and wearing matching clothing and accessories to Jungkook. The clip even mentioned that the youngest member of the band’s brother and Yoo-bi’s younger sister were in each other’s followers list. The video even claimed that Jungkook matched the criteria the Pinocchio actress has for her ideal man.

As this is not the first time when a BTS member has had false rumours linked to his name, earlier, V aka Kim Tae-hyung said that he would not mind to take legal action against the ones spreading false rumours against him.
