WATCH: BTS’ V releases OST for ‘Our Beloved Summer’ and ARMY can’t keep calm

The much-awaited OST of ‘Our Beloved Summer’ which is crooned by BTS singer Kim Tae-Hyung aka V is finally out and ARMY can’t keep calm. Lead actor Choi Woo Sik is one of V’s closest friends in real life and the two are part of the ‘Wooga Squad’ consisting of Park Seo Joon, Park Hyung Sik, and Peakboy as well.

BTS V is getting a lot of love from fans. His mellifluous voice is leaving the fans impressed. According to a report from Sports Chosun, the news about V’s song was confirmed on Thursday, November 25 as ARMY celebrated V singing an OST of SBS’s upcoming drama Our Beloved Summer. This would be the first time that V will croon a song for his close friend Choi Woo Sik’s television series.

The current song will mark BTS V’s third appearance on the soundtrack of a K-drama. Earlier, V has also lent his voice to his other ‘Wooga Squad’ member Park Seo Joon for the path-breaking drama ‘Itaewon Class’ titled ‘Sweet Night’.

Meanwhile, talking about ‘Our Beloved Summer’ is a South Korean romantic comedy television series. Billed as “Studio N’s first original” series”, it is directed by Kim Yoon-jin with a screenplay by Lee Na-eun. It also features Kim Da-mi, Kim Sung-Cheol and Roh Jeong-eui in the lead role.

The series is a coming-of-age story about a couple who has broken up but are forced to come together again when a documentary they shot in high school goes viral. ‘Our Beloved Summer’ will premiere on December 6 at 10 pm KST (6:30 pm IST). It is also available for streaming on Netflix.
