Hollywood star Brad Pitt is back in action once again with the action thriller Bullet Train. The movie is being directed by David Leich of John Wick and Deadpool fame. It’s been a long time since Pitt starred in an action movie. But he is back and facing off a host of villains aboard a non-stop bullet train in Japan and they are all looking for the same briefcase.

In the Bullet Train trailer, we see Brad Pitt as a retired assassin boarding a train to steal a briefcase. But his simple assignment turns complicated when most of the assassins on the train have a similar objective. The assassins aren’t aware that their assignments are interconnected, which leads to chaos.

The story of the movie is based on the international bestseller novel Maria Beetle aka Bullet Train by Kotaro Isaka.

The official synopsis of the film reads, “Getting back on the job is never as easy as you think… especially with the world’s deadliest assassins on board.” The movie finds Ladybug (Brad Pitt) in the middle of an assassin scuffle that births with all of them having interconnected missions to complete and eventually getting tangled in each other’s classified business.”

Bullet Train also features Aaron Taylor-Johnson (Tenet), Zazie Beetz (Joker), Joey King (The Conjuring), Michael Shannon (Knives Out), Brian Tyree Henry (Widows), Hiroyuki Sanada (The Twilight Samurai), Andrew Koji (Warrior), Masi Oka (Heroes), Logan Lerman (Fury), and even rapper Bad Bunny.

Bullet Train is set to hit theatres on July 15.
