Cher admits her first s*xual experience was “massively overrated”; reveals why she had “revenge s*x” at 14

Cher needs no introduction. The 78-year-old – born Cheryl Sarkisian, is a well-know and much-loved singer, actress, and television personality who is often reffered to as the ‘Goddess of Pop.’ The ‘ Strong Enough’ singer recently released her memoir, Cher: The Memoir, Part One, and it she’s made some bombshell revelations about her life, including her first s*xual experience, having revenge s*x and more. Cher opens up about her s*xual experiences

In her memoir – released on November 19, Cher opened up dating a boy from her neighbourhood when she was 14 and how that relationship panned out. Talking about how his behaviour towards her changed after they kissed in her bedroom, the singer-actress wrote, “[He] was sweet enough when we were alone, but as soon as his friends came around, he’d treat me like an embarrassing kid.”

She further recalled a time when the boy’s friends mocking asked him if he was bringing “that kid” [Cher] along with him for a group outing,” and he “ditched” her. The now-78-year-old singer wrote, “I was so hurt when he did that, I had revenge s*x with him. I had never wanted to. Otherwise, I would have done it one of the five hundred other times he asked.” She continued, “But I was so angry at being dismissed, I decided to, if not lose, loan out my virginity to him.”

In her memoir, Cher also noted that her first s*xual experience was “massively overrated.” The ‘Goddess of Pop’ recalled asking the boy once it was over, “Is that it? Are we finished?” She wrote, “Then I told him to go home and never come back. I wanted him to feel just as dismissed as he’d made me feel.” The singer also revealed that the boy – who she did not name, tried to make amends with her later, but she never spoke to him again.

In her memoir, Cher also spoke about how she feared her mother’s reaction to her losing her virginity. The singer wrote, “My mother warned me that the minute I lost my virginity she’d know because she’d see it in my eyes, so after the romp with the Italian, I ran to the mirror to check.” However, her fear subsided after she realised that her mother did not seem to notice a difference. She wrote, “I half expected to see the word S*X flashing in fluorescent letters across my forehead, but I couldn’t spot anything different, and she didn’t either.”
