Director Julius Onah shared insights on Sam Wilson’s journey and his growing role in the Avengers. “My heart and soul are in this film, but this movie cements Sam Wilson as our new Captain America and a leader of the Avengers. I’m excited to bring this to the world,” Onah stated.

Sam Wilson may lack super soldier serum, but true leadership requires courage, strategy, and duty. Steve Rogers proved that strength alone does not define a leader. Sam has already battled formidable foes like Bucky Barnes and Thanos. In Brave New World, he faces his toughest challenge yet—Red Hulk, who also serves as the President. This confrontation will test his limits and reinforce why he is the perfect hero to carry Captain America’s mantle.

Onah noted that Marvel has yet to confirm the next Avengers leader, but Sam Wilson is a strong contender. The future of the MCU looks promising with a powerful lineup. Doctor Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch) will play a major role in Avengers: Doomsday and Secret Wars. Captain Marvel (Brie Larson) will return to aid in the battle against Doctor Doom.
