Dwayne Johnson turns Santa Claus surprises Navy veteran with an amazing gift

Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson is starting the holiday season early. The Red Notice star has turned Santa Clause for a lucky fan. The 49-year-old action star surprised a Navy Veteran with an early Christmas present during a screening of his new film “Red Notice.” During an unscheduled appearance on Wednesday, he called out this fan from the audience and gifted him an amazing gift. Johnson also provided free concessions, shoes, tequila, energy drinks and ice cream for all.

Taking to Instagram Dwayne shared the heartwarming video where he showed fans how he surprised Navy vet Oscar Rodriguez with a special gift. It was the actor’s own personal customized Ford pick-up truck.

“Today was a good day,” Johnson wrote in the caption of the Instagram video he posted on Wednesday. “Merry Christmas @coach_orod and enjoy your new truck.

Johnson’s original idea was to give away the Porsche Taycan, that he drove in Red Notice. But Porsche said no. But as the action star wanted to do something special he gave away his personal custom truck as a gift.

Dwayne revealed the reason he chose Oscar Rodriguez, “I gathered as much information as I could about everyone in the audience and ultimately, Oscar’s story moved me. Takes care of his 75-year-old mom. Personal trainer. Leader at his church. Provides support and meals for women victimized by domestic violence. Proud & humble Navy veteran. Kind human being.”

Fans were bowled over by Dwayne’s action and couldn’t stop gushing over the actor, lauding him for his kindness.
