Ed Sheeran welcomes second baby with wife Cherry Seaborn, says he is ‘over the moon’

British singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran and his wife have become parents to a cute baby once again. The Perfect singer took to social media to make the announcement.  Sheeran took to Instagram and confirmed that he has welcomed “another beautiful baby girl” with his wife Cherry Seaborn. The singer added that he is over the moon with the birth of his second daughter.

Sharing a picture of baby socks placed on a blanket on Instagram, Ed Sheeran wrote, “Want to let you all know we’ve had another beautiful baby girl. We are both so in love with her, and over the moon to be a family of 4 x.”

Sheeran’s social media post was met with congratulatory messages from his fans. Fans and friends congratulated the musician on becoming a father for the second time. Many of whom left heart emojis in the comments section. One of the fans wrote, “OMG ED Congratulations.” Another said, “Yayyyyy!!!! Another girl like you wanted.” Murray Cummings commented, “so so happy for you all!!! The family grows.”

Ed’s representative confirming the news to The Sun added, that the singer will be spending time with his newborn before he heads out for his tour.

Sheeran and his wife welcomed their first daughter Lyra Antarctica Seaborn Sheeran in August 2020. ED and Cherry were childhood friends and high-school classmates in Sheffield, England. They started dating in 2015 and tied the knot in 2019
