EXO’ Chen to become a father for the second time

EXO member Chen had left his fans shocked when he announced his marriage last year. Well, while the fans tried to make peace with the news, Chen also revealed that he is soon to be a father as well. The fans showered the EXO member with congratulatory messages. Now Chen is all set to embrace fatherhood again as the singer is expecting his second child with his wife.

As per a Korean portal, Chen’s agency SM Entertainment confirmed the news to Xports News that Chen is all set to welcome the newest member of his family. The label said, “It is true that Chen’s wife is pregnant with their second child.”

Chen had announced his marriage to his lady love in January 2020. The newlyweds had welcomed their first child in April 2020. Announcing his marriage and the birth of his child, Chen had released a statement that read, “I wanted to tell our fans this first as you have given me such great love, I am writing this message even with flawed phrases. I have a girlfriend with whom I want to spend the rest of my life. Although worries and concerns came first when [thinking] about the situations that will follow this decision, but because I wanted to inform this sudden news as quickly as possible to my members, company, and especially our fans who are proud of me, so you all won’t be shocked. In the midst of that, a blessing came to us. Because the situation became one where I couldn’t do the things I planned with the company and members, I was quite taken aback, but I also found strength through this blessing. I am very thankful to my members who sincerely congratulated me after hearing this news, and I deeply thank our fans who send me overwhelming love even though I am flawed.”

Chen is currently serving in the military for which he had enlisted in October 2020.
