EXO’s Chen and wife welcome birth of their second child

EXO member Chen and his lovely wife have welcomed their second child. According to an exclusive report from Xportnews, Chen and his wife recently welcomed the birth of their second child. The news comes almost a year after Chen welcomed his first child a daughter on April 2020.

SM Entertainment has confirmed the news that Chen has become a father once again. But they did not elaborate on the gender of the baby.

On November 16, South Korean news outlet Newsen reported that Chen’s wife is currently pregnant with their second child. The news was later confirmed by SM Entertainment through a statement released on Xportsnews.

In 2020 Chen took his fans by surprise when he announced his marriage. The EXO member announced the news of his marriage on January 13, 2020, through a handwritten letter to his fans. His wife is a non-celebrity and the wedding was a private affair with only their families in attendance.

Chen, whose real name is Kim Jong-dae had made his debut as part of EXO in 2012, who released their first mini-album ‘Mama’. It was released in both Korean and Chinese that same year. Their most recent music release was June’s ‘Don’t Fight The Feeling’ special album. Chen is currently serving in the military for which he had enlisted in October 2020. He is expected to be discharged in 2022.
