Hellbound cast Yoo Ah-in, Kim Hyun-joo, Park Jeong-min on the Netflix series and going global with content

After the universal success of Squid Game, Netflix is all set to present yet another psychological thriller with Hellbound. The six episodes series has several supernatural elements with the focus being on the otherworldly. The director and the cast including Yoo Ah-in, Kim Hyun-joo,Park Jeong-min, Won Jin-a, Yang Ik-june, Director Yeon Sang-ho were present at the press conference in Seoul, South Korea. Dressed in black, the cast looked their best for the press conference.

During the press conference, Hellbound cast mentioned that it was a different experience and challenging in ways to shoot the show. About the global relatability, the director mentioned that he thinks that the emotions he is dealing with in the series has a universal approach and is something everyone can relate to.

From grief to happiness to worry to fear, the series deals with varied human emotions. The director is well known for his previous work with Train to Busan among others.

Hellbound is a story about otherworldly beings who appear out of nowhere to issue a decree and condemn individuals to hell. These supernatural events cause great mayhem and enable the religious group The New Truth to grow in influence. A few people, however, become suspicious about its activities and begin investigating its involvement in mysterious events. As the world turns into chaos, it becomes a living hell.
