House Of The Dragon trailer: Game Of Thrones prequel is all about Fire and Blood

HBO has unveiled a new trailer for its Game of Thrones prequel House of the Dragon. The series is based on Martin’s Fire & Blood and takes place 300 years before the events of GOT take place. The series focuses on the rise and fall of the Targaryens. The teaser trailer takes us into the world of the Targaryens.

House Of The Dragon trailer also gives us a look at the familiar family names swearing allegiance to the Targaryen family. We also get a brief look at a dragon (and a dragon’s egg), and hints of the conflict to come between the ruling family and beyond.

HBO has also shared the character posters of the cast along with the teaser trailer. These include Rhaenyra Targaryen, Daemon Targaryen, Viserys Targaryen, Ser Otto Hightower, Alicent Hightower, Corlys Velaryon, Rhaenys Targaryen, Ser Criston Cole and Mysaria.

The Game of Thrones prequel stars Paddy Considine, Olivia Cooke, Matt Smith, Emma D’Arcy, Fabien Frankel. Rhys Ifans, Steve Toussaint, Eve Best and Sonoya Mizuno. House of the Dragon, premieres on August 21.
